Trustee – Voluntary position

We are looking for an active and inventive individual who will bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and ideas to help with the governance of our small but growing Bristol charity. Excellent knowledge of, and participation in, Bristol business and social networks required!

Time commitment

- Attend six-monthly trustee meetings
- Contribute to projects as necessary
- Act as an ambassador to support fundraising and PR events.

Sunday 22nd June
Bristol Biggest Bike Ride
A day when cyclists of all ages and abilities hop on their bikes and explore Bristol and the surrounding area. Thanks to our Fabulous Fundraiser Ella Aylmer (age 9) we raised over £1,000 lets see if we can raise more this year. For entry details and further information email Kirstie@cherryd.org

Reebok Half Marathon – entries open 14th February2008
The race is now an established national event with a growing international reputation and is seen as one of Bristol’s most prestigious sporting occasions. Cherry D runners raised almost £3,000 last year and we are looking to top that this year. We have 20 Gold Bond places available, email Kirstie@cherryd.org to book your place.

A Charity night at the Circus
Join us for a spectacular night at the circus on the downs with tickets available with a recommended donation of just £5 each! The show boasts some amazing acts from around the globe, animal free and no scary clowns. For further details email Kirstie@cherryd.org

A big Thank You to everyone for making the Cherry D Birthday Fundraiser a night to remember. Over £3,100 was raised; well over our expectations!

There are so many people to thank from the fabulous Richard Madley from Dreweatt Neate who conducted the auction with style and panache; to those incredibly inspirational charities who humbled us all with their stories and to the people who donated an auction prize. Thanks also to Nick and his team at the The Picture House and our sponsors Audio Excellence and Medics on the Move and of course not forgetting everyone who came along and made it such a great night.
